JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Local high school students enrolled in Fab Lab science and technology classes got a special demo of robot-assisted knee replacement surgery with Dr. Angus Goetz earlier this week.

The students were able to be hands-on with the robot using fake bones set up in a conference room. The event was made possible with the assistance of St. John’s Medical Center and the gracious time of Dr. Goetz.

“These community partnerships and opportunities for students are one of the things that make a JHHS education top notch,” said District spokesperson Charlotte Reynolds.
