An LVE representative told Buckrail that crews had been dispatched around 8:20 a.m. and that the first priority is to restore power.

According to an email sent from Teton County School District #1 (TCSD), the outage is affecting Jackson Hole High School, Summit Innovations School, Jackson Hole Middle School and Colter Elementary School. The schools are running normally with generators for heat and power.

“If the electricity does not come back online by 11 a.m. we may need to release students early due to the power outage,” the email reads. “We will provide an update to families as soon as we have an update on the situation. “

Businesses that are confirmed to be a part of the outage include Buckrail‘s parent company Teton Media Works, Picnic, Target and Whole Foods.

This is a developing story. Buckrail will update with further information when available.
