WILSON, Wyo. — The Wilson Volunteer Firefighters Association 58th Annual Chicken Fry is set for Sunday afternoon, and it’s sure to bring numerous community members out to R Park for the firefighters’ celebrated fried chicken and Dutch oven potatoes.
This year, attendees are encouraged to park in the Stilson Lot. A major construction project is currently underway in the lot, such that its southern portion is closed to vehicles. Chicken Fry attendees will need to park in the northern part of the lot, which has approximately 350 parking spaces, and then walk over to R Park for the party. Signs will be in place along the pathway to lead the way.
Carpooling, biking and START Bus riding are all encouraged, as this event is always popular. There will also be limited handicap parking spots at R Park. Reminder: This is a ticketed event.
