Dean Jarvie, board member of the Wilson Fire Dept. Association, told Buckrail that the team served up 2,200 pounds of chicken and 1,000 pounds of potatoes for somewhere in the ballpark of 2,500 guests. Operations began at 6 a.m. Sunday morning to prepare for the big event.
