JACKSON, Wyo. — As fall colors begin to blanket the valley, Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) is beginning to batten down the hatches to prepare for its seasonal closure. The park’s services and facilities are closing on a staggered schedule, with many water-related facilities having already closed.
This will be the last weekend to enjoy many of the visitor services around Jenny Lake. The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center will remain open until Oct. 31, just before the closure of Teton Park Road on Nov. 1.
