MOOSE, Wyo. — Winter is coming and so are seasonal facility and service closures in Grand Teton National Park.
During the summer season, most roads and facilities are open and a full range of programs are available to enjoy for the park’s visitors. From November through April, some roads, all campgrounds and most visitor facilities are closed or have reduced hours. Some of these closures begin as early as September.
Next week, Schwabacher’s Landing and Deadman’s Bar roads will both close on Thursday, Oct. 27.
The Teton Park Road will close to cars beginning Nov. 1. For more operating hours and seasonal closures, visit https://www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/hours.htm.
