CHEYENNE, Wyo. —Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff statewide from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, Feb. 3 in honor and memory of Bobbi Barrasso, wife of U.S. Senator John Barrasso.

Bobbi Barrasso passed away in Casper after a two-year battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer on January 24, 2024.

“Bobbi was a treasure, a Wyoming native who always put her family and the people of the state first,” Gordon released in a statement. “Jennie and I send our prayers and deepest condolences to John and their family. Bobbi was a longtime friend, a stalwart supporter of Wyoming and a resolute warrior against cancer. She will be missed.”

Please note that this announcement is only for the Wyoming State Flag statewide. Other flags should remain at full-staff.
