Each year, Dancers’ Workshop puts on quite the annual event; complete with dinner and performance by a single world-renowned artist. This year, Dancers’ Workshop is shaking things up by offering a shockingly affordable ticket price for the Gala and more than 1 amazing artist for the celebratory evening.
Their new, $45 Performance + After-Party Ticket will get you a balcony seat at The Center Theater for the performance (everyone knows there isn’t a bad seat in the house!), followed by the after-party with dessert, dancing and a meet-the-artists reception.
“We wanted to make the event more attainable for the community,” explained Christa Johnson, Marketing Director at Dancers’ Workshop. “The world of dance is overflowing with diversity and the pursuit of excellence. The Gala is just one way we can help expose students and audiences of all ages to our world.”
8 PM on July 19th, the Gala Celebration performances by world-renowned artists; including an excerpt by Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company’s world premiere performance, Analogy/Ambros: The Emigrant. Also performing is tap master Savion Glover with fellow hoofer Marshall Davis, Jr., and New York City Ballet Principal dancers Amar Ramasar and Sterling Hyltin.
Following the performance, stay for a hopping night of cocktails, chumming it up with the artists, and groovin’ to the music – DJ’d by Antonio Brown, a dancer with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company.
