JACKSON Wyo. — A new series at the Center will feature thought-provoking speakers this fall and winter.

The inaugural Brainstorm Speaker Series is the result of a collaboration among the Teton County Library, the Jackson Hole News&Guide and Center for the Arts. All events will be free.

Animal behavior and autism expert Temple Grandin will kick things off with a program on Sept. 7 titled “Great Minds Are Not All the Same.” Journalist Jesse Eisinger, “Hidden Brain” podcast host Shankar Vedantam and science writer Ed Yong are also slated to speak.

Live Spanish translation will be available for Grandin’s talk. Her presentation will be livestreamed, and other talks in the series will also be made available via livestream when possible.
