WILSON, Wyo. — The passive microwave repeater will be flown off Mount Glory by helicopter beginning June 6 at 7:30 a.m.

According to Caribou-Targhee National Forest, the helicopter will remove materials in seven sections with delays on WY22 expected to last 20-30 minutes while the loads are transferred from the helicopter to a trailer.

The boot pack and Twin Slides area is closed beginning this evening June 5.

“For everyone’s safety, we ask you to stay clear of the area,” Jay Pence, Teton Basin district ranger, said. “We appreciate the community’s support and cooperation.”

The Glory boot pack was closed on May 16 so crews could begin to dismantle the structure.
