JACKSON, Wyo. – The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has issued multiple alerts for black ice and reduced visibility today.
Just because a highway is open does not mean that dangerous driving conditions do not exist. Drivers should exercise caution today when making a commute or using local roads.
As of 7:37 a.m., expect reduced visibility on US26 from the Idaho State Line to Jackson.
As of 7:28 a.m., expect black ice on US191 from Bondurant to Jackson.
As of 7 a.m., the road between Moose and Moran Junction remains closed with an estimated open time unknown.
As of 1 a.m., Highway 33 is open but conditions are snowy and slick, and Highway 32 remains closed at Tetonia.
The winter storm has been impacting road conditions and could continue to do through today. Buckrail will continue to update road conditions as alerts are issued or lifted.
