UPDATE 9:31 a.m.: As of 9:26 a.m. WYDOT has issued a no unnecessary travel alert for US189 between Daniel Junction and Jackson.
JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has issued alerts for hazardous winter weather conditions on every major road in and around Jackson Hole this morning.
As of 6:46 a.m. there is reduced visibility on US189 between Daniel Junction and Jackson.
As of 4:59 a.m. there is reduced visibility on WY390 between WY22 and Teton Village and on US89 between Jackson and Moran.
As of 4:58 a.m. there is reduced visibility and slush on Teton Pass, and chain law level 1 is in effect.
As of 4:58 a.m. drivers can expect black ice on US89 between Alpine Junction and Jackson.
Please note that slush creates unstable driving conditions and an increased risk for crashes and black ice is one of the most deadly factors in weather-related accidents. Drivers should use extreme caution when commuting today or using local roads.
