JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced a temporary closure of Driver Services locations across the state that will begin on Thursday.
According to a Facebook post, all Driver Services offices in Wyoming will close 30 minutes early on Thursday, Oct. 16. The offices will remain closed through Monday, and will reopen with normal operational hours on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
WYDOT stated that the offices will be closed due to new software installation and data conversion. Law enforcement access to driver information will not be affected.
“Although all locations will be closed, employees will be working on the software installation and data migration process,” said Driver Services Program Manager Misty Zimmerman. “Some employees will even be working through the weekend to minimize the amount of time the offices had to be closed to the public.”
