JACKSON, Wyo. — A tree has fallen across the Hoback River, creating potentially hazardous conditions for floaters and fishers.
The Snake River Fund shared the news on its social media accounts, explaining that the tree renders that stretch of the river impassable on both sides.
“There is a new, river-wide strainer on the Hoback, upstream of Bull Creek,” the post said. “All river runners should use extreme caution when running this stretch of the Hoback and be prepared to portage, or pick a different stretch until the hazard changes.”
