JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation will take down the temporary dog park located at the Teton County Fairgrounds on Thursday, April 29, 2021. The last day for public use is Wednesday, April 28.
Dog owners should remain observant of winter wildlife closures in the area through April 30, 2021. Check out the Bridger-Teton National Forest website for more information on seasonal closures.
PAWS will be hosting a closing date soiree at the park in celebration of another terrier-ific winter dog park season, starting at 2 p.m on Wednesday, April 28. Canine and canine chaperone costumes are encouraged!
In the coming months, PAWS of Jackson Hole will be working closely with the Town/County to fulfill one of the top priorities in Parks & Recreation’s strategic plan— the development of community dog parks! Email PAWS for more info on how you can get involved to help move the plan forward.
Thanks to PAWS of Jackson Hole, Town of Jackson Public Works, and Teton County Parks and Recreation for their continued support in making the dog park accessible to the public during the winter.
