JACKSON, Wyo. — On Friday, Sept. 5, the Town of Jackson Engineering Division shared its latest construction update for the Gregory Lane rebuild project, with crews continuing work on the main sewer line.

This week, construction crews will be testing sewer and manhole infrastructure in the area and connecting water supply lines to 1405 Gregory Lane and the Flat Creek Business Center. Crews will also be pouring concrete for sidewalks on both sides of the south end of Gregory Lane, the report reads.

For the following week, Monday, Sept. 15, to Friday, Sept. 19, installation of the sewer main is expected to be completed partially down Berger lane. Grading work along the south end of the project will also begin next week.

According to the Town of Jackson, the next phase of construction will continue sewer installation north to the manhole north of the Teton County School District bus barn. The Town wrote via press release that parts for the stormwater infrastructure have been shipped. Crews anticipate that the work will close the pathway. The construction schedule is dependent upon weather and material delivery, per the Town of Jackson.

“We will keep you updated on any major changes to the schedule as construction progresses,” the Town of Jackson said via press release.

The Town of Jackson asks commuters to respect and avoid private property and to stick to marked detour routes. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes in the vicinity of the construction project. Drivers are to reduce speed, follow lane shift routes and obey traffic flaggers’ directions in construction zones.

“Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification, detour and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers,” the Town of Jackson said.
