JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County and the Town of Jackson will unveil the first draft of a plan for Northern South Park at a community update and meeting next week.

Since the project Steering Committee meeting on January 13, the project planning team and  consultants have narrowed down the neighborhood plan alternatives toward a “preferred plan” based on  community feedback throughout the process.

The draft plan is available to review and download on the Jackson/Teton County Joint Long Range Planning website. There, the public is invited to submit comments and feedback on the draft  plan.

The Joint Long Range Planning team will host two ZOOM workshops to explain highlights of the plan and  how the public can comment during this phase of the process. The one-hour workshops will be held at 12 noon and 6 p.m. on April 21. They will be recorded and posted on the project  website for those unable to attend. Participate by going to ZOOM and entering Meeting  ID number 828 4011 6229 and meeting passcode 985506.

Further opportunity for comment will be available during public meetings with the Town of Jackson and  Teton County Planning Commissions. Following Planning Commission hearings, planners will schedule  meetings with the Teton County Board of County Commissioners and the Jackson Town Council.
