JACKSON, Wyo. — The public is invited to attend Teton County’s presentation of the first draft of its Water Quality Master Plan (WQMP).

According to the County’s announcement, the WQMP lays out a 20-year plan for the management and protection of surface and groundwater resources, as well as wastewater, stormwater and drinking water. The draft is the result of collaboration among Teton County, the Town of Jackson, Teton Conservation District, Protect Our Water Jackson Hole and consultants Trihydro and Flitner Strategies.

The presentation will be held at the Teton County Library on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 4 p.m. Those who cannot attend in person can livestream the presentation here.

A follow-up meeting is planned for Dec. 13, which will open the floor to public questions about the WQMP. Remarks made at this meeting and via public comment will be considered in the next draft of the WQMP.
