JACKSON, Wyo. — On Monday, Jan. 8, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) voted to move the hearing for review of the proposed land development regulations for Northern South Park to Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024.

Delayed for over a year, the Board reconsidered the vote and changed the public hearing to Feb. 20, where the proposed regulations will be presented during the BCC Regular Meeting at 9 a.m. in the BCC Chambers located in the Teton County Administration building, 200 S. Willow Street in Jackson.

The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved of the Northern South Park Neighborhood Plan on Nov. 5, 2022.

On Oct. 11, 2023, The Teton County Planning and Building Services Department released the public draft of zoning regulations for the Northern South Park Neighborhood Plan implementation project, according to a press release issued by Teton County.

These zoning regulations create new sections within the County’s Land Development Regulations (LDRs) that describe the requirements for the development process, design standards and housing program for future development within Northern South Park.

“The Plan prioritizes a mix of housing types, multi-modal streets and integrated open spaces to support a complete neighborhood vision,” Town and County wrote in the Draft Plan. “A core policy directive from the Plan is a minimum deed restricted housing requirement.”

Northern South Park proposed regulations are currently being heard by the Planning
Commission and are expected to conclude in January. The public is invited to review the
Northern South Park Neighborhood Plan and Draft Regulations.
