JACKSON, Wyo. — On Monday, April 15, Mayor Morton Levinson announced that Community Spring Clean-Up Week to be Monday, May 6 through Saturday, May 11, and Spring Burn Week to be Saturday, May 4 through Sunday, May 12.
The Jackson Hole Community Spring Clean-Up has been an annual tradition since 1969.
Spring Clean Up Volunteer Day will be May 11, and all residents can participate in this rite of spring. The Rotary Club will organize volunteers to clean up different areas in the community.
Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling (ISWR) also participates in Spring Clean Up and encourages town residents to compost their yard waste by providing free
compostable yard waste bags. Compostable bags will be available at Town Hall, ISWR and Public Works starting April 19.
Town of Jackson Public Works will provide free yard waste drop off at the Teton County Fairgrounds on Friday, May 10 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ISWR will also provide finished bags of compost on May 10, on a first come, first served basis.
