JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Broncs had one heck of a season despite not being able to grasp onto the state title against the Cody Broncs in Cody Saturday.

The Cody defense managed to hold down a strong Jackson running game on Saturday to secure the state title with a score of 34-14.

Jackson averaged over 250 yards a game rushing the football this season but were held to 73 in the title game. Cody had a very productive first half offensively to win their 2nd title state championship in the last 4 years and finish the year 10-1.

Despite the loss, the Jackson Broncs ended their season with a record of 9-3, ranked #2 in the state for Class 3A. This was the first state championship game for Jackson Broncs Football since 2007.
