Christmas Tree drop-off at fairgrounds for residents only

JACKSON HOLE, WYO –It is getting past time to get that Christmas Tree out of the house before it becomes more of a tinderbox.

A residents-only drop-off point has again been established at the Teton County Fairgrounds. Residents can also deliver trees to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US Hwy 89 at no cost through January 31. Trees must be delivered undecorated.

Please respect the service at the fairgrounds. It is for single-use residents only. Christmas tree loads from commercial entities, including landscapers and property managers, must be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US Hwy 89 during business hours, Monday through Friday 8am-3pm and Sat 9am-1pm. Fees are $80 per ton or 4¢ per pound.

Thank you for your consideration and for keeping these materials out of the landfill.
