JACKSON, Wyo. — Are you able to help feed this community for a few weeks this winter?
Community Entry Services (CES), a local nonprofit serving adults with disabilities, is undergoing a major overhaul on one of its kitchen facilities. The work is made possible by a generous grant from Hughes Charitable Foundation and proceeds from The Art of Love Auction. When it’s complete, the new kitchen will have much-improved accessibility.
In the meantime, the kitchen is out of commission for about eight weeks—or, roughly, until mid-March—meaning its residents and support staff will be unable to cook their nightly meals. That’s where you come in!
CES is looking for community members who might be able to donate frozen meals, microwaveable meals, or restaurant gift cards to feed at least six people during construction. An online meal train has been established or you may simply drop something off at 20 Pioneer Lane Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
