JACKSON, Wyo. — Ready to have a lovely Valentine’s Day?

This Saturday, Feb. 14, in the Center for the Arts (CFTA) lobby, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. the Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole and Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir will host HeartBeats, an evening of music and movement.

The evening will kick off with a free 45-minute ballroom dance lesson led by Chris Borton and Angela Jordan. Dancers will learn to the music of the Jazz Foundation Big Band, which is an all-volunteer organization based in Jackson. The lesson is open to all skill levels and no partner is required to celebrate.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. the band will then take the stage to perform with the Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir. The choir will “add a romantic and soulful layer to the evening’s sound,” the press release states.

Attendees can expect music, dance and community connection from the evening. A suggested donation of $5 will be accepted at the door, but there is no fee to participate in the event. Some refreshments will be provided.
