JACKSON, Wyo. — UPDATE 4:30 p.m.: Snake River Canyon is open again, just in time for commuters to get home.
More avalanche mitigation on US189 has closed the Snake River Canyon from Hoback to Alpine again.
That leaves two of Jackson’s four highways in and out of town closed again. Hoback Canyon remains closed for avalanche mitigation. Teton Pass and N 89 out of Moran are still open.
It is unknown how long each road will be closed. Stay tuned for more updates.
