Cache Creek racers break records

JACKSON, WY — Just under 60 mountain bikers left it all on Cache Creek’s trails for the Cache Creek Mtn Bike Race yesterday, presented by The Hub Bicycles and JHCycling. Two of those 60 broke race records.

Bart Flynn and Caedran Harvey set new records for the Long Course (18 miles) fastest time. Flynn finished with a time of 1:23:47 and Harvey in 1:38:08.

Naturally, both also finished first in the men’s and women’s Long Course, respectively. Jameson Peacock won the Long Course in the junior division. In the Short Course (10 miles), Diana Welch came in first for women with a time of 1:08:40. Brent Peacock was the first man to finish the Short Course in 51:31. Bode Welch was the first place junior boy, and Annika Peacock was the first place junior girl (some strong families on the course together!).

Peacock, Harvey, and Flynn were all the first and only ones to place in the Enduro category.
