JACKSON, Wyo. — Have you been on the hunt for the perfect boat at the perfect price?
Whether buying, selling or trading, the Rendezvous River Sports Boat and Board Swap is the best day of the year to save on new and used kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, rafts, canoes and river equipment. The swap is held this weekend, May 4 and 5, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The swap is a 29 year valley tradition that welcomes in the spring river running and lake paddling seasons, and helps support Jackson Hole Kayak Club programs for young kayakers.
Browse the used gear or snag a 10% to 50% off deal on select 2024 gear including all-new kayaks and SUPs. There is always a large selection of used whitewater and touring kayaks with some canoes, rafts, boards and lots of river gear. It is a great place to see friends from the paddling scene and meet new ones – there are usually crews heading down to the river from the boat swap, and levels on local runs are already fun. Community members are encouraged to go early on Saturday for the best selections.
If new to paddling, Rendezvous offers many programs for beginners – from basic instruction at the Teton County Recreation Center, flat water lessons on Slide Lake to Swiftwater Water Rescue courses to private river running classes. There are many options to help river and lake enthusiasts enjoy the amazing waters of Jackson Hole.
Bring in used gear and turn it into new gear or cash. Drop off for the swap is Thursday, May 2 or Friday May 3.
Representatives from Game and Fish and other water related non-profits will be on-hand to answer questions about local river issues. A DJ will be spinning tunes and all are welcome to come have a good time!
