WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced Friday that concrete pouring work will be carried out on the Snake River Bridge project on Monday, May 13, beginning at 5 a.m.

WYDOT and Ames Construction crews will be pouring concrete to build part of the new bridge deck between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., the agency said. While work is underway at the intersection of WY22 and WY390, traffic will be reduced to one lane, directed through the construction area by flagging staff. Drivers will need to make way for the arrival of a pump truck and a loader.

“This will be the first of many bridge deck pours, so drivers should expect similar operations in the next few weeks on select days,” WYDOT’s announcement stated.

The agency noted that rising water levels on the Snake River are a factor in the work schedule.
