UPDATE 10:00 p.m. – According to Teton County Emergency Management and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, the shelter in place remains in effect for the Spring Gulch Rd area as of 10:00 p.m.

Officers are currently out with a gunman on Spring Gulch Rd working to a resolution.

UPDATE 9:04 p.m. – Teton County Emergency Management and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office have ordered those in the area of Spring Gulch Rd between Highway 22 and Sagebrush to SHELTER IN PLACE NOW. There is an active shooter in the area. Go indoors, stay away from windows and stay tuned for updates.

JACKSON, Wyo. — According to Teton County Emergency Management and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, Spring Gulch Road from Highway 22 to Sagebrush Dr is closed due to ongoing law enforcement activity, as of 8:46 p.m.

Travelers avoid the area of Spring Gulch Rd until further notice and use N Highway 89 as a detour. Updates will be sent as more information is available.
