JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Fire/ EMS are responding to a smoldering fire near Spring Gulch Road and are currently tracking resources to mitigate the spread. Fire/EMS are present and traffic is backed up between Spring Gulch Road and HWY 22.

Today, temperatures in the valley are in the upper 80’s and stage 1 of the fire ban has gone into effect.
