BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho — The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has announced that the death of 10-month-old Zeke Best is “currently being investigated as an intentional homicide.”
BSCO says an autopsy is scheduled for today, Dec. 4.
Best was found deceased outside of Idaho Falls after being abducted from his home in Victor, where his mother, Kali Randall Best, was found dead on Thursday, Nov. 30. His body was found near his father, Jeremy Best, who has been arrested in connection with Randall Best’s death.
“Since the discovery there has been close cooperation and coordination between the Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney, Bonneville County Sheriff, Teton County Prosecuting Attorney, Teton County Sheriff and the IDaho State Police,” BCSO said in the press release. “Idaho State Police investigators are taking the lead, and all of these agencies are fulfilling assignments related to the investigation.”
