Back to school in Wilson. (Keith Gingery)

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – School begins tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4. As always, motorists should be extra vigilant in watching for school kids who may be too excited about heading back to school to be practicing good situational awareness.

Finishing touches are put on the Munger Mountain Elementary playground. The new school will be open for classes Tuesday, September 4. (Keith Gingery)

Registration for students not enrolled in TCSD #1 schools last year is accessible here. School principals have sent an email to families of returning student registration, i.e. students enrolled in TCSD #1 schools last year.  If you did not receive the email or have questions please contact the school registrar.

Which elementary school will my child attend?

With the opening of the new Munger Mountain Elementary School south of town, this has been a popular question. Elementary school attendance is based on your place of residence. School attendance areas are available here.

If you are new to the district or have moved since last school year, please review the attendance areas to ensure you enroll your child in the correct school.  To request an out of area school placement a formal request (available via this link) must be completed and submitted to the superintendent’s office for consideration.

Community-based after-school programs

Many local organizations provide after-school programs and service that are not affiliated with TCSD. As the district becomes aware of these programs they will post them on the Community After-school Programs and Services page under the Parent Drop Down menu above.

Students are headed back to school for the 2018-19 season tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4.
