JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Airport has announced another round of TSA PreCheck enrollment events scheduled for May 6 through May 9, after similar events in February had to be canceled due to technical difficulties.

Authorized TSA PreCheck enrollment provider Idemia will offer enrollment appointments at the south end of the airport terminal from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. on that Tuesday through Friday.

“The Airport has been working with Idemia to schedule another TSA PreCheck registration event this spring as many folks were not able to enroll this winter due to Idemia’s technical issues,” Airport Director Jim Elwood said in a press release. “Airport staff supports PreCheck enrollment events as they make the security screening more efficient both at JAC and other airports around the U.S.”

The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents. The in-person enrollment requires that applicants provide proof of identity, proof of citizenship, fingerprints and a photo. IDEMIA offers TSA PreCheck enrollment for $78 and, if approved, travelers get a five-year membership with the program. This event will not include Global Entry program enrollment.

Interested applicants are encouraged to book an appointment and fill out forms online ahead of time. Walk-in appointments are available but might come with wait times.
