JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Airport construction crews continue to make headway on the advancement project that began on April 11.

Inside the terminal, new wood ceilings and stone walls are being installed in the Checkpoint and Holdroom areas. Drywalling is complete and crews continue to add fresh paint to the new interior walls.

Meanwhile outside, the construction crews have surpassed the halfway point for the new runway project, bringing them to day 51 of 78. The new base course has been completely installed.

Grading outside of the runway’s shoulders is underway, while the crew continues installing runway lighting and paving the southern end of the runway.
