November is the perfect time to explore new ways to move, strengthen and restore your body. Dancers’ Workshop has an off-season special you can’t say no to! Their $49 November Unlimited special is an all access pass to all ongoing dance and fitness classes at Dancers’ Workshop (DW). I have been a student and teacher of movement most of my life and continue to educate my students on awareness of breath and alignment, emphasizing that a strong core is key to proper body functionality and injury prevention. I strive to give my students the ability to develop a deep understanding of movement and their own bodies.”
One of the goals of DW’s fitness and dance program is to blend the components of the physical, mental and emotional in a mindful way and in a safe, non-competitive environment. There are clear physical benefits like the loss of weight, flexibility gain, a good cardio workout and heart health, but the emotional and mental benefits are just as important – mindful moving to avoid injury, breaking the boredom of your routine workout, challenging your mind in a creative way, striving to reconnect, simply having fun and not watching the clock!
