TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — The sixth annual Kings and Queens of Corbet’s competition results are in, and this year’s King and Queen of Corbet’s have been crowned.

This peer-judged event was evaluated by the competitors during a film review. In the scoring process, athletes review each other’s runs in a private screening, and the overall impression is scored from 1-10. Scores were based on speed and degree of difficulty, innovation and controlled and completed landings. Winners were announced at the Royal Week Closing Party at Continuum on Saturday night.

In the women’s division, 19-year-old Claire McPherson snagged first place, while 2022 Queen of Corbet’s Piper Kunst took second, followed by Sarka Pancochova.

In the men’s division, Colby Stevenson took home the crown, Blake Wilson followed behind in second and Alex Hackel rounded out the podium.

The winners will take home some prize money: $10,000 for first place, $5,000 for second place and $3,000 for third.

The public can still vote for their favorite run of the competition through the People’s Choice Award. Voting ends Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. MST.

Congratulations to this year’s athletes!
