JACKSON HOLE, WYO – A friendly feud between Pete Muldoon, Mayor of Jackson, and Tyler Lindholm, a State House Rep from Sundance (Crook and Weston counties) will now play out on national television.

A local production crew (Tower 3 Productions) was hired by CBS Late Show producers to help conduct interviews with Muldoon and Lindholm—presumably to flesh out or fan the differences the two have had in the past over the Paris Climate Accord and Trump Dump Portraitgate. After Muldoon and the town council took action on the aforementioned items, Lindholm chimed in from across the state via Facebook video.

Some of the actions of Muldoon since taking office in January could be construed as decidedly liberal, at least liberal for a conservative Wyoming. It’s par for the course, however, when it comes to Teton County politics and the perception by the rest of the state that Jackson Hole is about “an hour’s drive from Wyoming.”

The segment, to air in late October, was shot earlier this month. We’ll all have to wait and see what the content reveals, but given the subjects and host Stephen Colbert’s distaste for President Trump, it seems the network might want to have some sport with the Cowboy State vs. Equality State.
