DRIGGS, Idaho — Many local families are soaking up the late-summer atmosphere, including this trio of moose hanging out in the Teton River over the weekend.
Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer spotted two bulls and a cow wading in the water on a sunny day.
Known for its calmer flow and peaceful vibe, the Teton is a popular destination for anglers and recreationists of all kinds. River users should exercise caution when approaching a blind turn or getting close to the banks as moose and other wildlife can appear rather suddenly. Remember to give all wildlife at least 25 yards of space.
