UPDATE: As of 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, WYDOT has extended the closure, saying the “estimated opening time is in 4 to 6 hours.”
WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has announced a scheduled closure of Teton Pass on Monday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m.
The closure will last for up to two hours, according to WYDOT. It will facilitate a test of the pass’ winter safety infrastructure.
To make way for this project, parking along WY22 from the state line to the Wilson closure gate will be forbidden starting on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 10 p.m.
“Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly,” WYDOT said. “Thank you for your cooperation.”
