UPDATE: As of 2:22 p.m. April 13, all alerts on Teton Pass have been lifted. Trailer traffic under 60,000 GVW is permitted to use The Pass.

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation has issued a trailer traffic ban on Teton Pass as of 9:35 a.m., April 13.

According to Buckrail Meteorologist Alan Smith, a storm cycle from the Pacific Northwest will set in Wednesday evening into Thursday. Heavier snow is expected through the morning hours Thursday and snowfall is expected to become more showery Thursday afternoon and evening.

Snow totals from Wednesday night through Thursday night will range from 4-8 inches in the Tetons above 8,000 feet, and snow quality will be wet and heavy.
