WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced Monday that an additional day of concrete pouring work would be necessary on the Snake River Bridge project this week.

More concrete work is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, beginning at 5 a.m. Work is expected to continue until approximately 6 a.m. This will be a continuation of the work carried out by WYDOT and Ames Construction Crews on Thursday, May 30, and Monday, June 3.

While work is underway, crews will reduce traffic to one lane for “roughly a half hour between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.,” WYDOT said. Flaggers will direct single-lane traffic at a reduced speed during that window.

“Crews are hoping to limit the delays to less than a half hour,” WYDOT’s statement said.

The schedule is subject to change in the event of weather-related delays and more. See construction updates at www.wyoroad.info, or sign up for WYDOT alerts at https://www.wyoroad.info/511/511NotifyAnnouncement.html.
