WILSON, Wyo. — A list of tasks to be completed this week at the Stilson Transit Center was released on the Teton BUILD Grant Facebook page on Monday, July 21.
With the Beckley Parkway paving complete, crews will be moving to other work on the transit center building, the bike shelter and outdoor lighting.
According to the post, the START bus will continue operations at the original bus stop on the west side of Beckley Parkway throughout the week. Public parking at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort lot 6 in Teton Village will remain open all week as well.
Power conduits for lighting will be installed under the parking lot, and the bases for light poles will be poured beginning on Wednesday, July 23. Crews plan to install reinforcing steel and form the walls of the new transit center, then they will pour the new walls on Thursday, July 24. They will form the footings for the bike shelter, install reinforcing steel and pour the bike shelter footings, also on Thursday.
Pending approval, crews plan to finish grading the bike path and placing the crushed base before paving it on Friday, July 25. They will continue rough grading the parking area and removing excess material.
The Teton BUILD Grant was awarded to Wyoming and Idaho in 2020 by the U.S. Department of Transportation to work on the Teton Mobility Corridor Improvements Project.
