JACKSON, Wyo. —  Immediately following the culmination of an unprecedented election season, Womentum’s Leadership Summit is the perfect opportunity for the community to reconnect, grow, and be inspired the evening of Thursday, Nov. 7 and all day Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 at The Center for the Arts.

The extraordinary lineup of speakers – from both the U.S. and abroad – includes record-breaking Chilean mountaineer Patty Soto, entrepreneur and business coach Zeahlot Lopez, author and storytelling expert Carrie Klewin Lawrence, and Colorado State Senator Julie Gonzales.

“Through the speakers’ powerful stories, workshops, and panel discussions attendees will gain new skills, inspiration, and a revitalized sense of purpose,” said Kristen Fox, Womentum’s executive director.

The summit kicks off Thursday at 7 p.m. with Keynote Speaker Patty Soto, the first South American person to complete the 7 Summits. She will deliver her remarks in Spanish, which will be interpreted into English through headsets provided by Womentum. She will tell her story of firsts, including how after decades of climbing in a culture shrouded with machismo, she honored her own style of mountaineering.

Friday’s lineup begins at 9 a.m. with a pre-recorded video message from Colorado Senator Julie Gonzales, who is running for Senate President and, if elected, will be the first Latina in the role. Senator Gonzales is known for her work in social justice and community activism, having allocated millions of dollars toward affordable housing and strengthened protections for immigrant communities.

In her book, “Origin Story: Power of the Inciting Incident,” author Carrie Klewin Lawrence teaches the reader to craft, discover, and connect with their unique “origin story.” As a stage director, acting coach, and storytelling expert she has helped business executives, entrepreneurs, and everyone in between spin their story into a secret weapon for success. She will lead attendees through a series of interactive exercises from her just-released “Inspirational Journal.”

Zeahlot Lopez is a visionary international speaker, mentor, author, and retired psychotherapist dedicated to women’s development. A first-generation Mexican American, she has established multiple businesses and mentored hundreds of women globally. As CEO of Business and Pleasure Inc., Zeahlot has transformed countless lives, particularly for culturally diverse and first-generation women.

Attendees will enjoy a lunch provided by Jedediah’s. The summit will conclude at 4 p.m. with a panel discussion featuring the three speakers, including Q&A.
