JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The valley’s premiere women’s mentoring organization has made another step forward with the addition of a part-time staffer. Rebecca Reimers joined Womentum as its marketing and events coordinator.
Reimers, a 25-year resident of Jackson Hole, brings vast experience in the not-for-profit spectrum. She is the former executive director of the Snake River Fund, and served as a mentor in the 2014 Womentoring cohort.
“I’ve been fortunate to have had a number of mentors in my own life who helped guide my path. I place great value on those relationships,” Reimers said. “Jackson women are so motivated and capable, Womentum is there to help them realize their full potential. The mentoring process nurtures their confidence, talents and skills so that they can excel both personally and professionally. I’ve seen the impact and growth firsthand for both mentees and mentors.”
Reimers will assist program director Caryn Flanagan.
“Over the years, our program has expanded to meet demand, and we have some very exciting plans for the future. Rebecca’s experience and strong community ties will support Womentum’s continued growth,” Flanagan said. “She really embraces our goals of women’s leadership and empowerment.”
Womentum has been steadily growing since its inception in 2004. Its mission of empowering and connecting women as leaders within their community has resonated with a current network of more than 270 confident and capable women in the Jackson Hole community.
