It’s time to say goodbye to the Summer People’s Market. Join community members, vendors, and entertainment from 4-7 pm tonight (Wednesday, September 18) at the base of Snow King. Stock up on all things local: groceries, art, beverages, and snacks.
Remember, the People’s Market is a zero-waste event! Don’t forget to bring your own cup (16 oz or smaller). No glass cups or containers, please.

What started out as a garden club with a few raised beds has turned into a 4 season market garden run by a Sustainable Agriculture class. Summit Innovations School Garden Club welcomes students in the fall to a garden that is bursting at the seams with fresh produce and immediately learn about proper harvesting, storing, marketing, and running a farm stand booth, plus all the season extension tricks that make the tomatoes and peppers possible. They will be at today’s market selling their Sakuro Cherry Tomatoes, Bigdena tomatoes, and Jalapenos.

Veronica Verdin is originally from sunny East LA but has spent the last couple of years bopping around the woods of Maine, mountains of Wyoming, and the dusty southwest. Naturally, the results for this singer-songwriter are a slew of moody, folk-country-surf-rock inspired tunes -and a few covers too!
