TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — The holiday season is one of the best times to be in Jackson Hole! During Jackson Hole Mountain Resort‘s annual Winterfest celebration, there will be FREE nightly family events from December 22nd to December 31st. 

Winterfest kicks off on December 22 with Free Skate Night and the launch of the newest GlowNights installation, “Cloud Lights”. Bring the family to enjoy skating, cocoa, snacks and public art!

Santa will arrive on Christmas Eve! Head to the Aerial Tram at 4:30pm to witness the magic of Santa dropping in from Big Red. Another Winterfest favorite, Snow Cats & Avalanche Dogs, on December 27th gives a behind-the-scenes look into the Resort’s coolest teams. At the Kid’s Ranch, families will have the chance to meet a Jackson Hole Avalanche Dog and JHSP (Jackson Hole Ski Patrol) handler, followed by the chance to check out a state-of-the-art-snow cat with a member of JHMR’s Grooming department. 

Wintefest wraps up with a grand finale on New Year’s Eve. Join us in the Base Area for the Glow Worm Parade (all kids are welcome to participate), Torchlight Parade, and an epic fireworks show.
