JACKSON, Wyo. — The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains from late tonight until Wednesday afternoon. The alert warns that travel could be difficult during this time.

Heavy snow is possible in the mountains with accumulations between 9 and 18 inches and wind gusts up to 45 mph. The combination of snow and warming temperatures could lead to wet, slick roads.

The NWS suggests monitoring the latest forecasts for updates on the situation. Stay tuned for more in-depth weather analysis Wednesday afternoon by Buckrail Meteorologist Alan Smith.
