WILSON, Wyo. — The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department (TCJPR) announced that it will be closing the Wilson Boat Ramp to motorized vehicles on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Bridger-Teton National Forest ramps will also close for the season on Sunday, along with Von Gontaard’s Landing and the South Park Boat Ramp.

TCJPR said in the announcement that the closure aligns with the winter backcountry closures in the area.

The Snake River Fund posted to Facebook this week that the public will still be able to access these recreational areas on foot, using skis, snowshoes and fat bikes, etc., but facilities will be unavailable.

The ramps are scheduled to open back up for the summer season on May 1, 2025.
