JACKSON, Wyo. — As hunting season comes to an end, Sporting Lead-Free, Hole Food Rescue, and Wyoming Wildlife Federation have come together to create an opportunity for hunters to showcase generosity and help the community.
These organizations are hosting the Third Annual Game Meat Donation Event and asking hunters to donate their excess packaged frozen meat. No amount is too small, all donations of this or last year’s game meat are greatly appreciated. The purpose of this event is to put food on the plates of community members.
Support the cause on Saturday, Dec. 14, and drop off packaged game meat at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department‘s regional office at 420 N Cache St. Donations are being collected from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you cannot make that time, please reach out to Sporting Lead-Free for an alternative drop-off location.
