White Pine back in business after fire

PINEDALE, WYOMING — White Pine Ski Resort is starting to get back on its feet after a devastating fire burned the lodge to the ground.

In a press release and a recent Facebook post, White Pine announced that the lifts are up and running, and will spin all winter. Summer operations are also in full swing — all of the horses are “safe and sound,” White Pine said in a Facebook post, and horse camps, trail rides, and pack trips are still available. The resort even hosted a wedding last weekend.

White Pine will have to decide on a new location for a temporary building. Pinedale’s District Ranger for Bridger-Teton National Forest will assist with the decision.

Rossignol also reached out to the resort to ask how they can help replace all the skis and snowboards that were lost in the fire.

Friends of White Pine have set up a GoFundMe to help the owners rebuild the lodge.
